Varför Early Access?

“The Last Sovereign is a long game that has been released in an episodic manner since November of 2014. Now that it has come to Steam, it will continue to be developed until the entire storyline is complete.”

“Currently the game is midway through the fifth and final chapter. Completion of primary plot content is expected to take another year or so, with additional content and improvements planned for after that.”

“The primary difference is that the story will be extended beyond the current ending. Though the first four chapters may receive graphical updates, additional dialogue, or other small changes, they are essentially in their final form. Care is taken so that game saves can be transferred through every version. Note that game balance may change in the most recent month's content.”

“The game is completely playable in nearly final form for the first four chapters and all features mentioned are implemented. Upon finishing the current content, the player will be taken to a waiting room where saves can be transferred to the next version.”

“From the world building, to the dialog, to the characters, I’ve really gotten into this game a lot. The sexuality is handled with what can only be described as a frightening amount of maturity. I love the fact that as important as sex is in this game and world, that the game doesn't FEEL pornographic. I love the fact that the characters have emotional bonds and reasons for being, even characters like Yarra and Qum. The quality of the writing, and the fact that the game is so much more than a vehicle for sex scenes, really make it a stand out piece. I can't quite gush enough how much I enjoy it, as a game, as porn, but also as overall fiction.”

“Holy crap it is outrageously well written. The protagonists are all brilliant: their banter is pitch-perfect and effortlessly endearing. I'm used to finding characters in porn games attractive (that is, after all, the point), but I don't think I've ever grown to like them before. I'm seriously blown away by the characterization. Plus, the plot is actually interesting too! Oh yeah, and the sex is hot.”

By telling a story that has sex as an integral component, The Last Sovereign offers a deep storyline that naturally includes sex scenes. No need to grind for hours or lose to every enemy to find the content. Not only will you adventure in a world where sex is a weapon, you'll build a harem of fully-realized characters with their own reasons for being with you... in and out of the bedroom.
